The song is credited to Johann Pachelbel (as the music is similar to Pachelbel’s Canon In D Major) and band members, Peter Hooton and Steve Grimes. “All Together Now” was released as the lead single from The Farm’s 1991 album “Spartacus”. The single was released in November 1990 reaching number 4 on the UK singles chart.
In May 1995, “All Together Now” was released by Everton F.C. on occasion of club’s appearance in the FA Cup Final. In 2004, the song was re-released to promote the England national football team during Euro 2004 in Portugal. This version featured Liverpool’s St Francis Xavier’s College boys choir.
