The song was written by Stephen Bray, Mary Kessler and Regina (born Regina Richards). Originally, “Baby Love” was recorded by Dutch girl group “The Star Sisters” for their 1985 album “Danger”. Regina’s version was released in May 1996 hitting the number one spot on Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs chart in the United States.
Dannii Minogue’s cover was released as the fifth and final single from her debut album “Love and Kisses” in October 1991. It peaked at #14 in the UK and #18 in Ireland.
